Erik Osborne earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree from Gardner Webb University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Degree from Wayne State University. Additionally, he has a double bachelor's degree from Michigan State University that he obtained while also playing Division I College Football.
In addition to being a highly respected medical provider, Erik recently pioneered a new medical reimbursement system that has been described as "the future of American medical reimbursement" and "highly innovative and disruptive." He is passionate about medical freedom and taking medical care decisions away from insurance companies, who are far too often in control of important medical decisions.
"Medical decision-making should be determined by patients, after taking into consideration the feedback from a qualified medical provider," Erik says. "Far too often patients pay insurance, only to be told that a life saving/altering medication or procedure is not covered, even though it is medically recommended and necessary. Insurance companies should not be able to hold your money hostage or have a say in these decisions; rather they should agree to serve the best interest of their customers. Our clinic does not accept insurance because we believe patient healthcare should not be dictated by insurance companies." Erik takes pride in treating every patient like they are a member of his own family and seeks solutions to the root cause of ailments.
